When will the application be submitted and decided? 

We hope to submit a planning application to Mid Suffolk District Council in Summer 2021. The council will examine all the documents we submit and will consult with a number of outside agencies. The council’s planning committee will make a decision on whether or not the application should be approved; this should take place in Autumn/Winter 2021. After this, the team will sign a legal agreement with the council. 

When will Valley Ridge open? 

We hope to open towards the end of 2024.  If the application is approved, we would expect construction to start in early to mid 2022 and take around 30 months. 

Can I work at Valley Ridge? 

Yes, when the site opens, and during construction.  We will announce details of how to apply later, but we are keen to ensure that as many Valley Ridge team members, at all levels, live locally. 

How can I read the planning documents that you will submit?  Can I make comments now?

When we submit in the Summer, we hope that all the documents will be available to read on the mid-Suffolk planning portal.  At that stage, you can email mid-Suffolk council with your comments at [email protected]
